Increase the intake of water, fresh fruit juices, lemon juice with a pinch of salt has proved to give you instant relief. Coconut water is very useful in treating gastritis as it provides the required vitamins and minerals to cushion the stomach wall to regain its normalcy. Rice gruel is also helpful in treating acute cases of gastritis and one cup of this rice gruel taken twice a day is helpful. Chewing of fresh ginger piece with a pinch of salt added before your meals helps not only get rid of gastritis but also helps stimulate the proper digestion of food. Drinking half a cup of potato juice 3-4 times a day with a gap of half an hour before meals helps solve gastritis. Marigold is useful in treating gastritis and the infusion of this herb in dosage of 1 tabs 2-3 times a day is a simple but an effective home remedy to treat gastritis. Ajwain with a pinch of rock salt is also useful in treating gastritis. A diet of fruits for 3-4 days helps sooth the stomach lining.
