Home Remedies for Stomach Ulcers

Peptic ulcers are also known as stomach ulcers. Stomach ulcers are usually caused when there is damage to the intestinal mucous lining. Ulcers can also be due to digestive tract infections. There are basically two types of ulcers: the one formed in the stomach is referred to as gastric ulcer and the one that is formed in the duodenum is known as duodenal ulcer. The most common sign or symptom of ulcers is that there is discomfort and tremendous pain felt in the upper portion of the abdomen sometimes burning sensation also follows this pain. Drinking the milk obtained from blending soaked almonds with water also benefits in treating peptic ulcers. Eating a paste of drumstick leaves added to fresh yogurt daily is effective in treating stomach ulcers. Drinking juices made from vegetables like carrots, spinach, beetroot, cucumber and other vegetables are all important in treating stomach ulcers. Goat’s milk also helps relieve you of your stomach ulcers.

Increasing a diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables is also beneficial in treating stomach ulcers. The juice of Aloe Vera is also known to benefit stomach ulcers. To get the maximum benefit of aloe Vera is to drink the juice everyday on an empty stomach as this is known to cleanse your entire system and also relieve you of other stomach disorders too.
