Home Remedies for Dandruff

Aloe Vera has a lot of health benefits and it not only used externally but it can be taken internally. One of the most sort after home remedy to solve ailments like acne, acidity, cold, cough, skin ailments etc. it is also beneficial in treating dandruff. Aloe Vera gel applied on the scalp at least 15-20 minutes before washing your hair. Using a mild shampoo everyday also helps get rid of your dandruff. Olive oil has a lot of health benefits and if applied on the scalp and left overnight and washed off in the morning helps smother your dandruff problem.

A mixture of olive oil with almond oil when applied on the scalp brings about burning sensation after 5 minutes, you should then rinse off well this will help clear the dandruff apart from that fenugreek seeds soaked overnight and grounded into a paste if this is applied on the scalp and left for at least half an hour and washed off helps relieve you of your dandruff problem. Coconut oil is also beneficial and massaging your scalp with warm coconut oil with the juice of lemon juice and left for a couple of hours and then washed off with a mild shampoo helps relieve you of your dandruff problem, this should be done 2-4 times a week and for a couple of months. Vinegar is also beneficial for relieving you of your dandruff problem, this can be used after shampooing your hair, care should be taken to rinse off your hair thoroughly, and garlic again finds its usefulness in treating dandruff. A paste of garlic and lime juice in equal quantity applied on the hair helps reduce your dandruff problem.

Neem leaves, neem oil are all good for hair, rinsing off your hair with water boiled with neem leaves reduces dandruff at first and then cures you of your dandruff problem. Sour curds mixed in soaked fenugreek paste when applied to the scalp not only brings shine and luster to your hair but also helps you get rid of your dandruff problem.
