Before you start on the home remedies for blood pressure you need to know the reason for high blood pressure and only then can you control your high blood pressure. High blood pressure is due to the increase in the adrenaline in the blood which results in the steep rise in the body pressure which forces the blood to pump extra blood in the arteries. Avoiding certain foods like meat, eggs, sugar, pickles, tea, fried food, coffee etc. also helps control your blood pressure. You also need to drink about 12-15 glasses of ionized water daily.

You should also follow a strict regime of exercising and follow a strict diet. Changing your lifestyle will bring about a permanent solution to your problem of high blood pressure. You need to take ample of rest to bring down your blood pressure. Yoga helps in regulating your blood pressure. Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables avoiding alcohol, spicy and oil foods etc. Green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, celery are all beneficial for your health.

Taking a tablespoon of amla juice with honey in the morning helps lower your blood pressure. Drinking a decoction of warm water containing a teaspoon of cayenne pepper helps lower your blood pressure instantly. Taking a mixture of equal amount of watermelon seeds and khas-khas seeds or poppy seeds on empty stomach in the morning as well as in the evening helps control your blood pressure. Letting stand a decoction of lemon juice in a glass of water for nearly two hours and drinking this helps lower your blood pressure.

Consuming fenugreek seeds two times a day for a few weeks also benefits, eating leaves of holy basil with neem leaves with ¼ glass of water on empty stomach for a few days also benefits your blood pressure. A mixture of onion juice with honey taken twice daily is effective remedy to cure your high blood pressure. Baked potatoes are known to benefit in controlling your blood pressure, hot compresses on your heart also cure high blood pressure. Drinking the juice of curry leaves left overnight adding lime juice to it also cures your high blood pressure.
